Plan before the rush

The slow pass is the one on How to play: open Fantasy, pick the upcoming match, spend 100 credits on 11 players, name the captain and the vice-captain, then choose practice or paid. Once the scored innings has started, the 29 April 2025 legality page says the team cannot be changed.

Toss and the playing XI

The pages do not print a toss script. They do print the lock. A regular contest scores the first innings and closes edits when that innings starts. A second-innings contest scores only the second innings. The January 2024 FAQ says that second team can be created until 10 minutes after the first innings ends, and that first-innings points are ignored.

• Check the playing XI before a paid entry. A non-starter does not score.
• Keep the role caps: at least 1 and at most 8 in each of wicket-keeper, batter, all-rounder, and bowler.
• At most 10 of the 11 can come from one real side.

Track roles across the season

The 17 October 2026 capture names ten franchises and does not print a player list. The season page does print captains, stand-in captains, and the leading run-scorers and wicket-takers. Those names are on teams. They are not a Real11 credit list, and they are not a full 25-player squad. Role value on the Real11 points page is what a player does: runs, boundaries, wickets, catches, stumpings, and run-outs, with the captain at 2x and the vice-captain at 1.5x.

Choose the contest window

Join when the XI and the fee are the ones you meant to accept. Practice, on the April 2025 how-to, has no entry fee and is there to read a fantasy score. Paid contests charge the fee shown on that contest. The 12 July 2025 homepage says various contest categories started at ₹2. If the lineup is still unconfirmed, the safer door on those pages is practice, or waiting. Types are listed on Contests.

The ground is part of the card

The season page uses 13 grounds. The 17 October 2026 capture names Wankhede Stadium, M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Eden Gardens, and Narendra Modi Stadium, and the May cards also use Chepauk, Raipur, Dharamshala, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Mullanpur. The same capture says a fast surface favours pace bowlers and a spin-friendly surface favours wrist-spinners. It does not say which of these grounds is which, so this guide does not assign one.

On the Real11 points page, strike-rate points need at least 10 balls in the first block and 20 in the second, so a player who faces those balls has a path the table names. Economy points need at least 2 overs in the first block and 5 in the second. Overs bowled late in the innings sit inside that economy. The page does not print a separate rate for the last overs. A substitute on that page is called an X-factor: 4 points for being announced, then points for what the player does.

Do not pick a name for the name

The multipliers are the decision. Captain points are doubled. Vice-captain points are multiplied by 1.5. A batter, wicket-keeper, or all-rounder who scores a duck loses points, −2 in the first block and −3 in the second. A player who does not bat and does not bowl has fewer paths to those tables. Both captain and vice-captain sitting on the same fragile script is the risk the role rules are there to limit. A season total, including Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s 776 runs or Kagiso Rabada’s 29 wickets on that season page, is not a team for the next match.
