Contest types on the Real11 pages
Numbers on this page keep the date of the Real11 page that printed them. Home.
Contest types named on Real11’s own pages: practice, paid, private, second innings, Live, and MVP. Each rule below keeps the date of the page that wrote it.

Pick the contest type that fits the team
Practice, on the 29 April 2025 how-to, has no entry fee and is for reading a fantasy score. Paid contests on that page charge a fee. Private contests are the third door: the older app guide says you create one and challenge people you know by sending them a contest code. No code is printed here.
Second innings, homepage 12 July 2025 and FAQ 1 January 2024, is another 11 with a captain and vice-captain, scored only on the second innings. The team can be created until 10 minutes after the first innings ends. First-innings points do not count. Live, on that FAQ, is a block of 5 overs you can join while the match is already on. MVP is named beside Classic, 2nd Inning, and Live on the April 2025 page, and the July 2025 homepage describes it as selecting an MVP for a match. A squad size for MVP is not on those lines.
Compare before you enter
The entry figure this guide will cite is ₹2, from the 12 July 2025 homepage, as the start of “various contest categories”. Practice is the exception that page’s how-to already made: no fee. Match the room to the team you have already built: practice when you want to read a score, paid when the fee on that contest is one you accept, second innings when the opinion is only about the second innings.
How to join
Use the seven steps on How to play: Fantasy tab, upcoming match, XI inside the credits and role caps, captain and vice-captain, practice or paid, My Contests, then the Contest tab for points. A shorter how-to page compresses the same job to five beats: pick an ongoing or upcoming match, choose a paid or private contest, select 11 players within 100 credits from both sides, pay the fee, then take points from the live performance.
My Matches, on the app guide, shows Upcoming, Live, and Completed for contests you already joined.
Set limits first
Cricket limits from 29 April 2025: 11 players, 100 credits, at most 8 and at least 1 in each role, at most 10 from one real team. Captain 2x, vice-captain 1.5x, except in Live, where the January 2024 FAQ uses 2x and 1x.
No edits after the scored innings starts. Second-innings creation closes 10 minutes after the first innings. Live blocks are abandoned, that FAQ says, when 40% of the balls in the block are not bowled. Player Exchange refunds a player left out of the XI, and caps a win at twice the ₹50-style base in its example. The April 2025 join line excluded residents of Assam, Odisha, Telangana, Nagaland, Andhra Pradesh, and Sikkim.
Read the prize split before you enter
The saved contest pages still do not include a percentage split, a winner-count, or a tie rule. What they do say about paying out is narrower. The how-to page’s Live section says winnings are distributed instantly after the last over of that 5-over set. The 1 January 2024 FAQ says the same thing as “after each block”. The app guide archived 25 February 2024 also names gadget leagues, with prizes it lists as a TV, a cellphone, speakers, and other gadgets. That is a prize type, not a cash table. A large headline on the 12 July 2025 homepage, ₹1 crore+ daily winnings, is marketing for the lobby size. It is not a split for one room.
When a room does show a split, read who is paid, not only the first line. A room that pays one rank is a different plan from a room that pays many ranks. The pages also do not print how many people are in a room. If a room shows a field size, compare it with the fee you already accepted and with how many ranks that split pays. No rank count is added here.
Skip the room when these signs appear
- The playing XI is still unconfirmed, and the entry is paid.
- The fee is higher than the amount you already decided to use. The only floor this guide cites is ₹2 on 12 July 2025, and practice is ₹0.
- The team breaks a printed cap: more than 8 in a role, fewer than 1, more than 10 from one side, or more than 100 credits.
- The captain plan uses the Live pair, 2x and 1x, inside a full-match contest that uses 2x and 1.5x.
Quick answers
Which contest fits a first entry?
Practice. The April 2025 how-to says it has no fee and is there so you can read a fantasy score.
Can one match have more than one team?
Second innings is a separate XI, scored only on the second innings. Live is a separate block of 5 overs. They are not a second copy of the same classic team.
